APs

Do colleges know which APs are the more rigorous courses? For example... I'm trying to decide whether to take either the Physics B exam or the Statistics (1.5 months left .. i know). I've covered both subjects but my parents are only allowing me to take one. So is Physics B considered by colleges as a tougher AP course than Stats?

yeah they definately know which APs are more rigorous than others. You should go for the physics

I'm assuming that you're a junior and have taken both courses. I would advise you to take the exam that you think you will do best on. Another factor is if you want to avoid physical sciences in college; in that case, it might be better for you to take ap physics. If you think you'll do equally well on both, i'd take the physics exam.

If you can only afford one test, take physics. Stat, while no walk in the park, is nothing too strenuous. Especially when compared to physics!

I would consider which exam is likely to get you college credit. Many schools do not accept Physics B, but most will give you credit for Stats. Physics is important to many science majors, but statistics is too.
