APUSH 1 year or 2 year

I just recently moved schools.

My old school took APUSH over 2 year (APUSH 1 and APUSH 2), whereas the new school I will be attending is doing the course in 1 year.

Anyone know why that could be and is it standard for APUSH to be 1 year or 2 years?

Some schools want to take more time to cover the APUSH material. In my school district, all APUSH courses are 1 year long only. 1 year is definitely enough time to prepare for and succeed on the exam.

1 year…oooooooooooooooooooooooo

All the schools in our area (public and private) teach APUSH in one year.
