APUSH+AP BIO+AP SPANISH in Junior year??

So I've never had an AP class or honors class before, so I'm planning to take AP us history, AP bio and AP spanish. Do you think it can be done for a person who didn't have an AP before? (I'm an incoming junior that has 4.0 right now) I'm just wondering, and I want people who are taking AP classes and took these classes to tell me how much workload, how the tests are, I just need more feedback from people, I haven't taken any AP classes yet :( I want to have an accounting minor in UCLA,but I need to show them my flexibility(for admissions).

or.. should I just change my AP Bio to honors physiology?
suggestions are highly appreciated :)

I think it really depends on your interests, but I know that isn’t what you want to here ;)

To answer your question, you can definitely do it. This year I took those classes (APUSH AP Bio and AP Spanish Language) plus AP calc AB and AP language and composition. I had taken WHAP the year before, but regardless that cancels out with the extra APs. Did it make junior year harder? Yes. Was studying for SATs more stressful? Yup. Was May the worst month of my life? 100%. But was it doable and would I do it again? In a heart beat. They’re all amazing classes, and if you push yourself you’ll be fine. Just keep in mind that it will be hard. There will be weekends when you can’t go out with your friends because you’ll have too much work. A lot of times, you’ll be stresed beyond words. But if you keep focused and stay driven it will be tremendously rewarding.

Best of luck, and let me know if you have any other questions/ want advice :)

3 AP in junior year should be fine. APUSH requires a lot of writing and may have a lot of home work. My D took it in sophomore year. You may want to ask your school counselor though as he/she would know more about your school’s grading system and can compare you with other students at your school better.

yep i took ap bio and ap us history this year and ap spanish last year and I really didnt think it was insane. I would not recommend taking ap spanish unless your a native speaker

Absolutely. I just took all those as a junior in addition to AP English language and while at times it was a huge workload, it was certainly doable if you’re a hard worker. I didn’t get a whole lot of sleep though, especially during football season. And things will get crazy around April and May, but you can certainly do it.

I took APUSH+AP BIO+AP LANG+AP CALC AB+ AP COMP SCI in junior year and it wasn’t that bad, you just gotta not mind doing homework but I did have a lot of days where I had no homework.
