Apush Book

Hey, I am taking APUSH this year and we are using The American Nation by Carnes and Garraty. What textbook [not review book] does your school use?

Most schools use "The American Pageant"...including mine.

A People and a Nation

"Liberty, Equality, and Power"
Does anyone else use this textbook...?

Pageant and Spirit

The American Pageant by Kennedy, et al. I have heard The American Nation to be a little bit right wing, but that is just what I heard. And really, I like American History by Brinkley since it doesn't dumb the readers down unlike Pageant and really good narrative that makes you want to read on.

And for Liberty Equality, power, Doesn't the subtitle indicate that it is a social history of the United States??? So then it doesn't cover other types of history, right??? (Just asking; I took the AP USH test last year and got a 5.)

We use American History by Brinkley, it's pretty good, a little simplistic and at times and he takes some really random tangents, but I do learn a lot...
