<p>Please dont give me an essay or even an answer to this question. I just want to know what this question means? Is it saying that Puritanism succeeded in the US only because it failed in England? Thanks.</p>
<p>It is saying that within the ideals of puritanism were also the cause of its destruction.</p>
<p>Basically, puritanism failed because of its ideals and practices.</p>

<p>^ mine does too. We had to read a few books and answers packets of questions. We didn't have to do any essays though.</p>
