Hey guys, I was wondering which court cases most commonly show up on the exam?
thanks

I took it last year, and honestly not many show up. They key ones i suppose would be:
Pessy v. Ferguson(1896) - separate but equal
Marbury v. Madison(1803) - judicial review
Brown v. Board(1954) - overturned plessy v. ferguson
Dred Scott v. Sandford(?) - Dred was a slave who ran away to a free state, his owner came back for him, he then thought that he was free since he was on a free state, the court ruled he was property and not a citizen, so he was a slave everywhere he went, free or not.
Nixon v. US(1971) - Nixon could use executive privilege, but not in the case of watergate. judge held “not even the president is above the law”

yeah…those are pretty much the only ones I could concieve of being on the exam. AP gov is the one you have to worry about in terms of court cases.
