I am sure there is a thread on this, but I can't find it. So, what's everybody's prediction?

Lincoln. Definitely Lincoln.

are you certain? i heard rumors of jackson, which i am hoping for.

I’ve also heard rumors of Jackson showing up again. But you people do realize that it’s almost impossible to predict what’s going to be on? Maybe WWII this year…my APUSH teacher told me that it hasn’t been done yet.

Do the think it will be Lincoln because of Obama? I heard it might on Progressivism, because there hasn’t been a question on it in the last 20 years.

Last year there was a topic on Vietnam, so I doubt that will occur again.

Progressivism has apparently been too “frequent” in recent years, so supposedly they wouldn’t want to return to that.

Other then that…yeah, mostly anything is fair game.

Yeah, last year was Vietnam. I was very happy about that because we had JUST learned the material.
There was an essay question on the 1920’s political parties/turnover last year. Maybe know Coolidge Prosperity/Harding/Teapot Dome Scandal?
buying on margin, etc
It’s a useful time period to know.

my teacher also predicted the WWII homefront, however he says jackson is also in the top 5 for his most anticipated dbqs.

does anyone think they might do one on the causes of the civil war??? from all the dbqs we have had in class, i’ve never seen one…

I think every possible DBQ topic has been predicted at this point
