Does anyone have a good guess as to what the DBQ on the APUSH exam will be on? I've read about how people have limited it down based on past exams. Overall, though, has anyone made any lists or thought of what is most likely to appear most on the exam and in the essays?

Bump........

Events leading up to Civil War

The 2004 topic was French/Indian war and the 2005 topic was American Revolution and its aftermaths. My guess would be something post-colonial but not past like 1870.

How have you arise at these predictions?

Pre-civil war is a good topic, you can go as early as 1820. You can put in documents such as all 3 compromises, webster-hayne debate, nullification, etc. Not to mention Dred Scott and all of Lincoln's speeches.

jackson.......

Is this just a guess based off of past exam topics?

Have you contemplated what the free response questions may be on?

Bump......

You guys really don't have to worry about the essays/DBQs. It's true that I freaked out a ton when I took it last year, but in the end we all realized it was stupid to do so. The questions won't be on obscure topics, especially the DBQ, and even if it is on something you don't know much about, you can always choose to answer the other question. No mater what, you'll have SOMETHING to say on one of those, I'm sure. I had no idea about one of our questions and barely any more about the other but I managed to bs only a 3/4 page essay and managed a 5 on the test anyway.

Does anyone have an idea as to what the FRQ's may be on?

Bump...

I've now heard varying ideas of what the DBQ will be on, as I read on another topic that everyone was saying Vietnam, while some said the Civil Rights Movement.

Is anyone moderately certain about anything?!

the DBQ's are all random dude. a teacher i know has been trying to find a pattern in this **** for 20 years. still none.

Yet some claim they are moderately certain of what it will be...Even if it's not the DBQ, there may be an essay on the topic. You never know. Any ideas?

Didnt anyone else think that the DBQq on form A was a killer? My teacher always told me never to answer a social history essay before 1900 (usually a FRQ) but they made it a DBQ??

Does anyone know what the essays were from form B?
