My current APUSH teacher just gave us a packet of old APUSH essays. By old, I mean very very old. I couldn't even find them on apcentral so they must've been before 1998 at LEAST. Also, they're totally different from the recent exam essay questions, since they're essay questions when the APUSH exam made you write only two essays (one dbq and one essay and each was worth 50% of ur sect. ii grade) So the essay questions are a lot more challenging (you were given an hr to write ONE) than the current essay questions which are designed to be written in 35 minutes. Also, they highly stessed critical thinking of the time periods and weren't as straightforward. For example, One question in that booklet was whether or not the Revolutionary war was radical or conservative.

Is there any point to practicing those REALLY old essay questions? Or should i just practice the most recent essay questions?
