has anyone had any success with "United States History: Preparing for the Advanced Placement Exam"? It's a small, thick paperback book and has a picture of the US flag on the cover. Our school requires us to have it (along with a textbook) for the class... does anyone know if it actually helps on the exam?

Thanks!!

that’s actually the recommended book in here, I’m using it right now (the 2010 edition) and I’m liking it as my main review book

Are you talking about AMSCO? I’m using it for review right now, it’s very helpful!

That book is also known as AMSCO.

It’s the recommended book around here.

Anyone know if amsco should be used with american pageant? or is american pageant sufficient by itself?

amsco is sufficient by itself as a review

Thanks! I’m glad that you guys think it is a good review, I’ll definetly use it. I have an older version… so it has the tests without the answers. Blah.

I just bought 5 steps to a 5 for the practice exams, and I like the formatting better. The vocab in the back is so good. :)
