I do have AMSCO, but we are just at Chapter 12 right now! (our school works in a wierd way :D) So, I was thinking of using an APUSH study guide.

Which one would be better choice: 5 Steps to a 4 (McGraw Hill) or Barron's APUSH?

I would still try to read through AMSCO, but I feel like a goo d study guide would help me a lot at this point...with essays and DBQ strategy and etc.

Also, would AMSCO practice tests be enough or there are particular sites or books for the APUSH practice Tests?

Thanks.

REA has good practice tests.

Thanks, any more suggestions or questions?

AMSCO is a great study guide! I don't understand why you'd need another one. Go to collegeboard.com and look around for AP United states history. You can find a lot of old questions there. Princeton Review is good too.

5 steps to a 4---lol

hahaha...I just realized that typo! 5 steps to a 4....lawl...

thanks..i guess I'll stick around w/ Amsco only.

i have REA and love it, but its pretty big

REA has good TESTS but content is too much like Barron too in depth, but Princeton Review makes it concise to the point, and you remember stuff well, I got a 4 and got C's in the class, so anything is possible with AP, gluck
