I realized I messed up slightly on the essays. For all three of my essays I wrote a pretty weak thesis that mostly rewrote the prompt into a statement. Would it still be feasible to obtain a decent essay score? Could I still get a 5 if I get 70/80 MC right too?

if you could get 70/80, then the 5 is yours.

I’d be surprised anyone got a 70+. The MC was very difficult.

lol a 70+ is very possible, I think I got a 74. Seriously don’t sweat the essays. I was doing the math before, and if I got a 73 (what I got on the practice test) I needed a 4 on the DBQ and a 3 on each of the FRQs to get a five…
So as long as you didn’t make up history you’re fine =D

Heh thanks for the reassurance. Lol no I didn’t make up history. I am better at fact memorizing than essay writing so I did pretty well on the MC. Most questions I was confident on (60-70) and with the remaining questions I really narrowed it down. Whats funny was, some of the facts that came up 100 times in my review packets were questions on the test.

@USNA the practice tests, especially the college board released exams, are hardly a measure of what you would have gotten on this the real test. I got a 77 on a 2001 test and I know for sure I didn’t score that high on friday. You sound way to assured, your in for a rude wake up call in July.

@theReach, I thought the MC was very easy.
I’m pretty sure I got 70+… I went through it with ease, I had enough time to do the MC twice, and still had 2 mins left…
