<p>Would anyone be so kind as to help come up with answers for these questions? It would be nice to make this a sort of discussion from which all people taking US history can benefit. Thanks!</p>

<p>For #4 I've learned that Jphn Marshall was a Supreme court chief justice and a federalist who believed that power should reside w/in the national govt (over the states). b/c he couldnt quit/get fired, he was able to maintain that federalist influence for a while, using judicial review</p>

<li>Thomas Jefferson- He was supporter of states rights(democratic Republican)...think for economic guessing that he was supporting like farmers...social issues-tied into the farmer thing...he was from virginia so thats what im basing it on
Hamilton- Federal Government rights(see Federalist papers)...economic wanted to help out business, merchant, shipping(northeast industries)...social not sure
This should all be in ur book or if its not then buy AP review manual its going to be in there. Hamilton vs. Jefferson is pretty big thing and pretty easy to find as its at beginning</li>
