My son was devastated by the 2 he received on his APUSH. He thought he had aced it and made a 5 on his European History AP. We requested a rescore and just found out the corrected score is a 5. There was some mistake in reading his bubbles. It took 8 long weeks to get the results but we are thrilled.

wow, congratulations!

Wow! Good thing you rescored it! Congrats!

Nobody doubts any more that CB makes mistakes! Great news, and congrats on simply having the courage of your convictions that he aced it and they were wrong.

ummmm…congrats

wow!!! That’s fantastic!!!

Thanks for all the nice responses. I had read previous posts weighing the options of rescoring and I just wanted to let everyone know that the CollegeBoard does make mistakes.

Good for your son. Did they refund your money?

You write APUSH and then say the AP Euro Test was rescored 2 to 5?

I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear. He made a 2 on the AP US test and a 5 on the European test. They rescored the US and raised the score to a 5.

OMG! I got a 2 even though I was sure I did really well! Do you think its too late to ask for a rescore? If not, how would one go about it?

Two years ago my D’s APUSH score was raised from 2 to 4 because they lost her essay. We found out about it…CB did not notice it. Another thing to check on if score is particularly low.

Whooooo!!! Good for you!

cant expect CB to care for everyone, rite?

wow congrats on that… a 2 to a 5… WOW

Hmm…that probably explains why I got a 2.

does CB charge money for rescores?

if they do, that’s just evil. :[ It’s their mistake…they should fix it. Is it too late to ask for a rescore if you took the test last year?

Thanks

btw, congrats about the 2–>5 :)
