APUSH review books

What prep books do you guys recommend for AP American?
Princeton, 5 steps to a 5..?

Amsco, hands down.

Princeton ws not bad. Quick easy reviews and OK tests

Amsco book pwns all other books/

REA all the way.

Amsco Amsco Amsco

The Amsco is great for review but REA has more practice questions and altough they arent as hard as those found on the AP, I still found them very helpful for review.

amsco definitely.

I highly recommend Princeton for the history overview and REA for M/C questions (harder than those on the actual exam, but they prepare you well). My whole history class used this combination plus our history textbook. 14 out of 15 people, including me, got a 5 on the exam (only one person got a 4). Of course, it also helps to have a great teacher...

i think Princeton is pretty good if you're the kind that doesn't like to be bogged down with too much information.

I found REA to be nice.

It depends on the person, but I just bought those little Sparkcharts (heh) with the timelines and a practice test booklet and didn't use a review book, and I did fine. A 5, actually. What really helps is just to review time periods and then quiz yourself on them. I would write a time period on a piece of paper, like 1800-1820, and brainstorm all the terms, dates, and trends I could remember. If I found that what I knew was lacking, then I'd study that section extra hard. It worked, with minimal effort :p

Use Amsco for reviewing the info and Rea and Princeton for questions
