APUSH Self Study - Tips?

So this would be my first history AP and I’m self studying it. I read some of the guides on here for APUSH and I purchased AMSCO (2010 revision) and Princeton Review.

My current plan is to read through AMSCO and PR and practice the essays from the book and website, then attempt the MC from each chapter in AMSCO along with the practice tests from PR.

How should I tackle the DBQ’s? Also, are there any online resources I could use (like chapter outlines, etc) that are especially helpful?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated regarding the exam, how I should be studying, what to focus on, etc.
