What kinds of schedules are you guys using for studying for the APUSH test? Does anyone have a schedule they'd be willing to share? What works for you? What doesn't? This is my first AP test, and I need to start studying...I'm just not sure how.

I’m reading a chapter from AMSCO every day. After that I’m taking the practice AP tests offered by my APUSH teacher after school. That’s all.

I have a question for the poster above: what chapter are you on already? Because I plan on doing the same thing but I’m only up to I think chapter 4… should I speed it up?

I’m on chapter 7 right now, I started last week. I’m trying to read 2 chapters a day spring break next week, to speed things up a bit.

Are you studying them in units or just reading straight through?

Anyone else?

I’m making flash cards for each chapter of AMSCO.

I’m on chapter 19 right now. After I finish, which will prob. be monday, I’ll start memorizing by unit, taking the practice tests, and doing the DBQ offered.

I’m going to try to do a few of the FRQ’s available on collegeboard and then take 2-3 official AP tests depending upon how much time I have left.

Really hope this works, because my class did absolutely nothing!

Chapter 19 on the American Pageant (Yes, I’m rereading the textbook).

Here is an excellent thread that covers exactly what you need to know for the APUSH test. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ap-tests-preparation/894178-why-apush-students-should-make-studying-african-american-history-top-priority.html
