Except for the odd MC question outa nowhere it was easy! I'm so relieved. I didnt feel the DBQ was too bad, and my essays were good, although I'm starting to think that I picked the wrong question for my 2nd essay. Whaaatever, its over!

LOL. I wrote about the SDS and wasnt sure if it stood for Students for a Democratic Society. Good thing i guessed correctly xD. mentioned port huron, new left, all that good stuff.

how bad is it if in a state of mental retardation in my DBQ i wrote that harriet beecher stowe gave the "am i not a woman" speech instead of truth? im thinking really really bad.

jenny: ouch, It shouldn't take away too much from your score if the rest of your essay is in shape. WHen did you realize?

As far as APs go, that test was very easy. Both multiple choice and essay portions were easy. I think i got maximum five wrong on mc and the essays were pretty good topics. Compared to the level of work we have been doing in my AP class all year, this test was easy.

can we agree that that the DBQ was relatively good-- change of the "republican motherhood"
However the multiple cfhoice was quite difficult. I actually have to skip like 8 question - when i usually only skip one or two.
Free response is ok, but my organization and grammer may seem like crap as i rushed it ....kinda

blah i fail

What do you guys think about the curve for this year?

MC: left 8 blank, 12 or so unsure
Essays:
DBQ-so-so, not too bad
FR #2-so-so
FR #4-terrible, but it was better than #5 (I was thinking about SDS, Beat movement, but I didn't think I had too much support from the 50's since we didn't get to cover it)
All in all, I thought the MC was relatively easier than our book tests (70% easier) and a bit easier than the AMSCO practice MC.
Oh, and I made an excellent decision in cramming all of us history last night. I studied colonial up to civil war, skipped 10 chapters, then continued with post-WWII. Turns out, on the MC, there were very few questions in the time period I skipped.

MC was a bit difficult. skipped 10

DBQ - was somewhat easy. I am not exactly sure if i did the right stuff. Is it alright to talk about westward migration, lowell, prohibitino /temperance reform, women rights reform, revol. war and civil war impact for the topic? if so sweet cause i explained ea.

3 essay was a bit weird. im not sure if i did well at all. hoping for an okay score.

4 i thought i did quite well on this one. not that hard to support cause the presidents were sitting presidents.

I believe it said before the Civil war started.
And I mentioned Lowell too!

i also mentioned lowell

Me also:)....someone should make a list of the questions they remember and what they put, so I can compare...lol

Man...I BSed 3...talked about stuff like Homestead Act and Morill Land Grant Act...haha. And just the amendments for the other part of the question.

sud have picked economic choice. Then you can talk all about preparing for industrialization since north controlled congress. thats what i did shrug

anyone take the AP ENG LANG test also? I thought this was a piece of cake compared to the english one, although it was really different than my practice book for some reason

How many right on the multiple choice to get a 4?

boomer-

lol in afterthought once we handed in the test i was thinking about what i wrote in my essay, and wow! what a good piece of outside information. then it dawned on me. i suck.

I'm also interested in the grading scale. Who's still going to study for SAT II USH tomorrow?

i have sat 2 tommorow, i might just brush up
