APWH [help!] World History

So, basically I haven't been doing any reading for the entire year but still got away with A's. Problem is, test is coming up so close now (LITTLE OVER A WEEK!!!)

Dad wants me to get a 5 on it. I have a review book, but am only on the 4th chapter.

What to do? If I just read through it, I'm afraid I'll forget it all. But if I take notes it slows down my reading soooo much and I won't be able to do more than a chapter a day.

I'm horrible at memorizing dates, so I'll just focus on sorting by time periods. I think I can easily score a 7 on DBQ, but I'll probably fail the other essays. And of course multiple choice. I'll definitely fail that. HELP?

I was in the same exact same situation last year. I had coasted through the year getting A’s without ever reading the book. I realized like 10 days before that i had to do something.

Barrons APWH became my life for a week or so, and i read through the first 5 of 6 time periods. I figured that I didnt need to read the last one because we had just covered it. I didnt take any notes or anything like that but I did the practice questions in the book.

I actually did get a 5 with this strategy, but they are really hard to get in AP world. Only 6% of test takers got a 5 last year but I had a real knack for the multiple choice questions. I was still surprised with the score.

This may be too late, but for anyone who is seeing this… Read through two review books straight.

I read Barron’s cover to cover and I only scored a 3. I’m so frustrated because I invested so much time studying (about a month and a half) and got a plain score. I scored well on the tests and had one of the highest scores in the class. :-/
