<p>I know there was already a thread about pretty/ugly languages, so I'll try not to get into that, but I will say that I think it's a shame that people don't realize how beautiful Arabic can be. I admit that when spoken normally it can sound a bit harsh, but when sung it is quite pure and melodic.</p>

<p>After having listened to this clip, I am easily convinved that Arabic is absolutely RICH in sound.</p>

<p>Chicago and Michigan have the best Arabic departments. Harvard, Penn, Princeton and NYU are not bad either.</p>
