I have not seen alot of discussion about the program at Northeastern. My daughter and I have visited several schools including the "top ranked" programs. Given today's economy, I would think the co-op would be an impt aspect of any program. NEU is a 4+2 but you would graduate with a Masters plus 18 mo experience....you don't pay tuition while on coop so it is the same as paying for 5 years at a private school...plus it is located in down town Boston. I am curious why it isn't discussed more on these boards...comments?

Arch at NEU is fine, but from what I have heard is that the school next door (Wentworth) is ranked higher and has CO-OP program just as good. But most importanly it is $10,000 less. I am a student there but on the engineering side.

DS has a friend who is in his 3rd year at NEU. He was accepted into alot of schools but picked NEU because of co-op and because he could also take other courses in liberal arts that interested him.
