Architectural Engineering at SLO

hoshia u did archE too?

Well I know I’m a girl, so… And yes I did archE ED too.
I’m wondering how many people did apply for archE now though. I didn’t think it was that popular of a major… :<

well i wanted architecture, but i heard it was SO HARD, so then i went for archE cause i thought itd be easier. we’ll i think im wrong. u guys in CA too?
kool

@ hoshia, I think you’ve got a good chance, your other stats help balance your GPA :)

@ einnob, I learned when I toured the campus. :)

I can’t remember which other thread I posted this, but Cal Poly does NOT have readers, apps are all done by computers. These aspects are listed in order of importance:

1.) GPA
2.) Test scores
3.) Classes taken
4.) 1-10% (depending on major) Extracurricular

I don’t think gender, etc. are factored in.

By the way, if you can’t tell by my screen name… I am a girl! And proud of it. hahah…

BYW, your location/school is a factor as well; probably more important that ECs

Hmm, well you never know. I wouldn’t think gender is a huge factor as well, but engineering is pretty male dominated. Perhaps if it was a choice between a female and male student with similar stats it would count, because of diversity issues and such. Even if it is done by computers, they should still look over the borderlines, eh?

haha, so all of us are girls hmm? Interesting indeed. :3.

I’m sure we’ll all do fine! ^^
