I'm currently an architecture major, but haven't really started the extreme designing courses yet, I will be starting Design Studio 2 which is 5 credits next week - i'm not an excellent artist, i passed design 1 with a B and i dont have much drawing experience. I love math and science, especially physics - I've wanted to take chemistry but had no reason to, now I'm confused though architectural engineering allows me to take all those math and science courses but is there any designing involved? i'm not good at drawing but i'm super creative with building ideas and i'd really work a job where my design is being built, not helping build someone's else's design. I've watched megabuilders and other similar shows and loved what i saw from the engineering perspective - as for designing i'm not sure if i want to stick to residential or go to other types of buildings - i like both - not much a bridge builder though...any help/suggestions? :)

Does your current school offer AE? You can look at the curriculum to see what is required. Different schools’ programs place differing emphases on the creative side. Like you, my son is strong in math and science but also enjoys creative work. He chose his AE program (PSU) in part because the studio courses there are taught by architecture faculty and there seems to be greater collaboration between Architecture and ArchE than at the other schools he visited (CU-Boulder, IIT, Drexel).
