Architecture anyone?

My son has applied to Architecture program. He has 2030 in SAT- 700M/680V/650Writing. SAT II - Math IC -730,US history 710 and Biology 630. He is National merit scholarship -commended. His EC's include Eagle rank - Boy Scout. National Art Honor Society and member of a few different clubs at school. I hear the Architecture program is very competitive. Does anyone know what kind of SAT score and GPA Syracuse is looking for?

Yesterday, he attended the national portfolio day-where his portfolio was reviewed. He could not get a feeling for how well it went. He has his college interview this coming thursday. Has anyone had an interview yet? If yes, what kinds of questions were asked?

Thanks.

my girlfriend applied (and was accepted with a nice scholarship) to SU architecture. I guess the program is pretty competitive. She had a 1400 SAT (on the old version) and a 98/100 GPA in majority AP classes. Her rank was top 4% in a class of over 600. She also had a fantastic portfolio. She turned down SU for Cornell architecture. I'll have to ask her about the SU interview and get back to you.

how much money did your daughter receive; I'm in a similar situation applying this year, and any info on the aid she received, or the process, would be great!

ARCHcornell: Actually, it is my son that is applying and I have no idea about any money yet. I will post if I hear anything.
