<p>There have been various postings on here in the past about some of the great things being done at the School of Architecture at Tulane. I won't repeat them, but this was recently highlighted on the Tulane web site and I thought it was worth bringing to the attention of anyone thinking of architecture as a major.</p>
<p>Architecture continues to be a reasonably common area of interest on this forum, and there are numerous examples of how Tulane’s students in this field get involved with building local homes, playgrounds, protective structures, etc. Here is yet another interesting example for those of you considering Tulane among various schools. The opportunities in New Orleans are nearly limitless, not to mention the amazing architectural history all around you there.</p>

<p>These guys are really making architecture relevant to the community at the primary level.</p>
<p>I was just informed that the link in my post from a year ago has expired. Unfortunate, but of course the School of Architecture’s area within the Tulane website has lots of news about projects that have been accomplished.</p>
