I know some people who do architecture. The program is very demanding. All-nighters are not, as they are for most undergrads, fairly rare occasions during midterms and finals. They are for architecture majors far more frequent; and according to some arch majors I've spoken with it's not uncommon for people to be done at 4am on most days. On the plus side, it's a very tight-knit little group of people since they spend so much time in the studio together and keep the same (odd) schedule. They tend to hang out primarily with one another and go out together whenever their projects are done.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the facilities and program for arch majors is (in contrast to the grad program) technically at Barnard. This really has no bearing on much other the location of studio classes, though.
