Architecture in CMU or Umich?

I'm looking to enter either CMU's college of Architecture, or pursue an Architecture at Umich. I've been thinking about it for a while, but haven't really come to any conclusions.

I was considering getting a M Arch from Yale or GSD, so even though CMU offers a straight 5 year B Arch professional degree, it wouldn't matter that much even if I went to Umich and got a BS Arch.

Anyone has any suggestions?

Well, at UMich, you do your first 2 years at the LSA and then transfer to the Arch school, so i suppose theres more freedom there, but its not a guaranteed transfer. CMU is a very techie architecture programme.
I was accepted at UMich for architecture but am headed for Rice this fall. However, I would still recommend Mich over CMU any day, both as a University and moreover as a better architecture school.
