Hi... I am a bit confused... I want to major in architecture (B.Arch), that would qualify me as a professional architect right? Do I need a license to work in the US? I am going to be an international student (I'm from South America). Where can I see where I could work after the completion of undergraduate study in the US?

With a BArch and about 3 years of experience (go to NCARB for the full details) you can then start taking the architectural exam to become licensed. However to get a job out of school you do not need a license, just a good portfolio and hopefully a little better economy.

thanks rick12

I’ve posted on this on a couple other threads - but rick12 is right, check out NCARB.
Bottom line is, you need a NAAB-accredited degree to become a licensed architect. An architecture major is not the same as a BArch, so be sure that you’re in an accredited program.
