ba-bump.

10char

ba-ba-bump.

Your portfolio was good (it was unique), but I still think RISD, Cooper Union, and Syracuse will be your toughest schools to get into.
USC - don’t know much about it
RPI, Northeastern University, Pratt you should get into, IMO.

Thanks

Yeah i’m gonna work on more traditional art pieces (only a few were up on my deviantart that i sent you, in the scrapbook section)

bump&grind

Hey arctic,
havent seen your portfolio, but remember, Syracuse requires that 8 pieces be free hand drawings of life observations. I don’t know if that means no computer assistance, but i have a feeling it does.

RISD - ?
USC - reach
Cooper Union - ?
RPI - match
Syracuse - match
NE - match
Pratt - match

akmeecheen, thanks, i didn’t know that. and i just linked them to my deviantart :stuck_out_tongue:
I’ll probably use RISD’s home test towards those 8 pieces if i get it done in time, otherwise i’ll have to get drawing soon.

[edit] http://www.syr.edu/futurestudents/undergraduate/applytosu/requirements/req_architecture.html

I don’t see that requirement, where’d you find it?
Though they do suggest still life drawings

oh what the… i can’t find it anywhere… it does say it on the VPA website, but that only applies for those applying to the School of VPA… I guess I got mixed up -_-;… I SWEAR I saw it before on the SOA portfolio requirements page… so confused now hahaha. Oh well. Good for you, eh?

Sorry for the confusion :P

Haha no prob, and yeah, makes it easier for me :P

bumpbumpbump

bump…

Update: Dropped Cooper (No time for home test, didn’t really want to go anyway), and Accepted into USC!!!

So now I’m basically waiting to see if I get accepted into RISD and if I do, I’ll have to compare FA packages.

Hello.
I am a current Junior in high school and very interested in studying architecture in college. I was wondering if you could send me your portfolio just so I can see what you have and what I should be looking for in my own work. Thank you

Hello!
I’m a high school senior and I’m really into architecture too. I’m also interested in looking at your portfolio, if you don’t mind. Thank you!

Hello
I’m an international student from Indonesia, and it sounds like you’re applying to a lot of the same schools as I am! I’m just wondering, can I see your portfolio? I just submitted mine and I want to see how mine compares to someone already in USC (which is one of my top choices)!
