Architecture or Industrial Design?

Hello i am going to be a senior this year and i am considering what major i should to do in college.
i want to do industrial design or architecture, but i don't know what to choose between those two major. :P

For Pratt Institute, which major should i choose? and
for SCAD, which major should i consider doing?

Also do you think it's possible to major in Architecture and do industrial design for minor?

Please Help Me!! :(

Both majors have very specific and intense curriculums. It would be very unlikely that you could minor in ID while doing Arch. I believe at Pratt you have to apply directly to Arch if that is what you want. I did meet a kid there who had transferred from Arch to ID after the first year. Most art schools do not require you to declare your major until the Spring of Freshman year. The first year is for foundation studies and exploration. That would give you time to check out both departments, meet current students and gather info towards making your decision. Visiting the schools in person could also help. This way you could talk to students and faculty and get a feel for the specifics of each course of study.

Maybe you could take an intro course or intensive this school year or next summer in ID or Arch and that will help you know what you want to do in college. My son thought he wanted to study Arch but ended up taking the summer session in ID at Pratt and came out knowing he wanted to do ID for sure.
