Hi, I am pretty set on applying to schools for architecture. My top choices are the five year B.arch programs at Cornell, Syracuse, RISD, Rice, and VA Tech.

I have already started putting together a portfolio but I'm not sure if it is strong enough to get me in. How much of a deciding factor is the portfolio and what exactly do these colleges look for other than "creativity/design potential"? (I noticed that certain schools that rank high don't even require one..) Also what is the interview process like/ how important is it?

Basically just lay down any information you have on the entire process and maybe share your own portfolio :-)
