I want to go into architecture, and I was wondering if the portfolios have to be focused on all architecture-related things?(buildings, floor plans, etc). I love painting things like landscapes, cityscapes, portraits sometimes. I also love sketching and clay so I’m not sure if that’s to be included.
People who got into Cornell BArch program- what did you do for your portfolio?
Hi! I know this is late but… I didn’t apply for cornell but I was admitted in the 2 universities that I sent my portfolio and I mixed photos, paintings, drawings… only 1 drawing was a cityscape and that was the nearest to architecture drawings I got… Good luck!
Just in case you aren’t aware there is an Architecture cc forum, which has been very helpful when my D began the whole Architecture process. If you have any questions there’s a whole slew of parents, architects and students that can help.
