<p>OK, then, that makes things a bit easier. From what I remember from a year ago when DD did this, UOregon would be a good match, probably SLO (in state, yea!). But your biggest concern would be financial aid, not getting in because some of these places from OOS are a wee bit expensive. </p>

<p>I’d add some South schools just for fun, places like Auburn, Rice and the like, and even some of the usual suspects off the DI list (Illinois Institute of Technology). Pretty much go down the list A-Z, spend a zillion in Kinko’s portfolio reprints and app fees and see what sticks. </p>

<p>Again, if cost is an issue, consider living expenses in the picture as well. Some places have awesome amenities and the like but charge U of Kuwait like fees while others are more reasonable in price (but accommodations are, ehem, a bit more, ehem, utilitarian).</p>
