Architecture Undergraduate(international) - Help Me Plz;(

<p>High School GPA : 3.5 / 4.0 ( when converted to US style(UW), but my school evaluated students relatively like any other<br>
Korean schools. So in Korean style: 2.8 / 9.0 ( school ranking: about 50 / 300 students)
SAT1 : CR / M / W : 800 / 800 / 770 ( not superscore)
SAT2 : M2 / PH : 800 / 800
TOEFL : 115 /120
University GPA : 4.0 / 4.0 ----- here's a question, I'm currently enrolled in a 4 year university in Seoul, Korea. I'll be
finishing my first year by the end of this year. However, I've decided to apply for schools
in US for various reasons... and I think my high school GPA is not high enough. So will it be
ok to send my college transcript too? I've emailed some schools and they told me that they
look into students individually and sometimes it might work as a positive factor. However,
when I look into that school's site, it says that students who have finished a full year in
different colleges can not apply as a freshman. So I'm really confused now... Do any of you
know answer?;(
Essay : ok...
Recommendation : good( some are from alumni - Cornell, Columbia etc)
Q2 : will it be ok to include recommendation from college instructor?
Portfolio : in my opinion... great! ( more than 20 - most of them are connected to one theme, shows interest in Architecture,<br>
used various mediums: self-portrait, free-hand drawing, cyanotype, collage etc!)
EC : won couple of awards from city contests(English related)
President in 4 school clubs( through out high school.. 3 of them were for 1 year and 1 was for 2 years)
won about 10 school awards(mostly academic achievement.. 2 from English debate) </p>

<p>Schools I'll be applying to : Cornell University / Rice University / Syracuse / Cooper Union / RISD / Columbia /
Pratt / Yale / University of Texas at Austin </p>

<p>I don't have any counselor, so I really need some other people's perspective! and if u have any other good schools to recommend me, plz do!</p>

<p>Once you take courses beyond high school, you are considered a transfer student. You won’t be considered a freshman. Please note that you need to be very honest on your applications. </p>

<p>Yeah, that’s what I worry about … but at the beginning of this year, I’ve e-mailed many schools but they all said that I can apply as a freshman and that they evaluate students individually… So I’m really confused;(</p>

<p>Every school is different, but most consider you to be a transfer student once you start a university education anywhere.</p>
