Architecture: USC v. UCB

Hello everyone,

I've been accepted to USC School of Architecture and UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design. I've been researching both schools to see which one I should attend. I have no idea which program is better and I felt the need to ask for everyone's input.

It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What are the cost differences for you?

My friend graduated from USC architecture…don’t recall if he ever said how the program was but he complains about his student loan debt burden constantly…heh. A dormmate was a landscape architecture major at Berkeley…he was constantly working on projects and complained about the workload. Sorry I don’t have more guidance than this (probably unhelpful) anecdotal information.

I would weigh other factors like cost and environment over program strength in this case.
