Hey I was wondering what kind of courses architecture majors take in college? Is it a lot of math? Also, how's the money for architects?

points you to Yale

-------> Yale, Stanford, UPenn, Notre Dame, others.

Princeton's not exactly a mecca for architecture programs.

As far as I knew, Princeton had one of the top programs in the country? This website seems to confirm that...

Regardless, does anyone know how math-heavy architecture is? Also, how's the money?

Thanks

i think you are looking for an undergrad program, and that ranking is based on research (which is probably more relevant to the graduate programs/funding etc.)
you can search the thread architecture in other college majors for some more info.

Not my field but from what I've heard from architect friends, they see the best graduates from Princeton and Yale. I haven't heard them comment on Columbia, though the ranking you have found shows them second only to Princeton. Princeton is certainly highly regarded but may lean more in the direction of a scholarly approach. I'll ask them about the math.
