i'm ChemE major at CPP, and throughout the four (probably even 5 years), take at most 16 units each quarter (4 classes excluding labs). Specifially math, physics, chem, and chemengr classes, along with some quarters where I may need to take an additional course for prereq or g.e. purposes. Is this manageable?

Quarter Schools go by ten weeks and the info is covered really fast. I am just concerned about GPA.

Thank you.

Hey reyrey, ironically I’m a sophmore biochem major at CPSLO, so I can speak on behalf of the quarter systems. Fifteen to sixteen units are about the average for students on quarter systems, it’s definitely manageable and isn’t OVERLY stressful. I have personally taken 12, 17 and 16 and never felt like I needed to drop a class. You will be fine as long as you stay on top of your classes.

I took a ton of chem, calc and bio classes so I wasn’t taking easy classes either.
