Are ACT scores equivalent to higher SAT scores than you think?

SAT ACT Concordance Table:

According to College Board:
Higher Education Professionals | College Board;

ACT:
[ACT-SAT Concordance](http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/index.html)

and University of California:

even better contrast:
35 ACT
2180 SAT
took a year of prep for SAT, went in cold for ACT.

I got 35 on ACT (34 E, 36 M, 33 R, 36 S, 10 Essay) and 2250 on the SAT (730 CR, 760 M, 760 W, 10 Essay) I’m a junior planning on applying to Ivy League schools. I’ve heard submitting both makes you more competitive, but also that colleges “don’t care” which score you submit. Will the disparity between my SAT and ACT hurt me if I submit both? In other words, would you recommend me to submit both or just one and why? Thanks.

also, both are single-sitting.

It’s pretty sad that your method takes elementary algebra skills and is only off by a variance of ±20 points for scores 30+

i’ve only taken each test one time… but my scores were:
2090 SAT (750 M 630 CR 710 W + 8 essay)
30 ACT (28 E 27 M 33 R 30 S) math is my lowest somehow… i think the amount of time given on the act makes it a lot more difficult…definitely prefer SAT
