Are admissions requirements final?

For both Mount Holyoke and Bryn Mawr, it says they require 3 years of a foreign language for admissions...I have all my other requirements completed, but I only have 2 years of a foreign language...is this an automatic rejection?

Generally, yes.
That is why they are called requirements.

Hhowever, if there is a good reason that you were able to take only 2 years of foreign language, you could write a letter of explanation to be attached to your transcript and hope they consider your reason sufficient to merit granting an exception. This could work if the rest of your application package is stellar.

Mount Holyoke and Bryn Mawr are holistic - which means that they look at the whole picture of a candidate. If you interview, show interest, have good grades, etc., you should be fine. Missing one minute component is nowhere near an auto-rejection. Though, if you want a definite response, try emailing the schools.
