<p>My brother got a wait list letter from Andover via snail mail today. I got my Andover acceptance via Fedex before noon last year. Have to assume wait list went out yesterday via snailmail. We are one delivery day away from Andover.</p>
<p>A vast vast majority of very bright and talented kids will be disappointed today. Life goes on. I would think that if you worked as hard at your public school as you have to work at a BS your future is bright. Just think if you spent 30 hrs a week studying and doing assignments at your own school. Would you finish in the top 1-2%? I suspect so; and that will get you into many fine college programs.
Most successful people didn’t have the benefit of a private HS education. Just saying.</p>

<p>Today when I got home from school there was no Fed ex and no letters in the mail. It was sad but my mail is really slow so I hope I get them tomorrow. And UPS comes at 5:30 so I hope Deerfield is in there.</p>

<p>Since it is now after 5:30 and we have not been visited by the FedEx man, I will assume that son has no acceptance there. Only one more school to find out about and what started at midnight will finally come to an end…or should I say, a beginning?</p>

<p>These schools should all do like Exeter and email them first thing. Got a rejection from Exeter, but at least I’m not waiting and waiting and waiting.</p>

<p>Lolol I suggest you guys exchange what schools you go to, etc, over private messaging! You don’t want information this personal out on the web…I was already wary of saying what county I’m in, since it’s a pretty small one.</p>
