So today was the 2nd day of Spanish 1 and instruction is taught in Spanish. It's still relatively basic Spanish, but there are times I don't clearly understand the instruction. I don't know. I only took a year of Spanish in high school during freshman year (2004) and I don't remember anything really. I personally found the intro classes to be not hard, but not easy. Know what I mean? Are all foreign language classes like this?

They are all like that. Even in my French class, the TA warned us that if we dropped French for another foreign language it would be the same. It’s just how UCLA teaches foreign languages.
