Are all the dorms bad?

I visited GMU in October, and as a part of our tour, we were taken to see a freshmen dorm. The dorm was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! I was so disgusted with how small they were for three people! I really liked the school, and I love D.C., but those dorms are really making me think twice.

So all you Mason students, are there better dorms that I didn't see??

& can I get them as an OOS freshmen?

someone please tell me I'm not doomed to the terrible dorms!

I've been waiting to see a friend who currently attends Mason before answering this question. I can't say for certain but I'm pretty sure they are all like that. I'll respond with a more definite answer when I meet up with my friend.

Just wanted to respond to let you know that I have not forgotten. The student is in the process of moving out of the dorms, and I haven't seen them recently. I'll let you know when I find out.

You probably visited the dorms in President Park, right? They're not too bad...I roomed with another person and it seemed like we had a pretty good amount of room for both of us. I stayed in Madison Hall..not sure which one you visited, but they are probably all the same. Just stick it out for a year and then have a friend with a lot of credit pull you into a nicer housing area.

Go to their housing website at George Mason University - Office of Housing & Residence Life

I was told a similar story by my friend at GMU as well.
