Are any of these schools rolling admission??

Hi, do anyone know if any of the schools listed below are rolling admission??

1.U. of Illinois–Urbana-Champaign
2.Georgia Institute of Technology
3.University of Michigan–Ann Arbor
4.Univ. of Wisconsin–Madison
5.Pennsylvania State U.–University Park
6.University of Virginia

Thanks very much. if the ones above aren't rolling, can you tell me what kind of admissions they offer? Thanks!!

I think U of Mich is...

UIUC, UMich and UWisc are rolling; UV is not. Don't know the rest. How about getting on the websites for these colleges and find out for yourself, probably quicker and definitely more reliable than asking a bunch of people in cyberspace.

Penn State is rolling.

Here's a list of most of the rolling admissions schools out there:
<a href="http://www.princetonreview.com/college/apply/articles/types/rollingcoll.asp%5B/url%5D">http://www.princetonreview.com/college/apply/articles/types/rollingcoll.asp</a></p>

However, entomom is correct: it is best to check each college's website for confirmation as admissions programs and policies do sometimes change. And, getting confirmation directly from the school is ALWAYS better than relying on strangers who may or may not know what they are talking about.

could u explain what rolling admissions is again? noticed no UC or CSU schools listed there

rolling admissions means you apply whenever, and the sooner you get everything in the sooner you will know the results. They obviously have a date that they either prefer everything to be in by or they have a ending date in which you cant send anymore material or applications for a certain semester. Say for Wisconsin, for fall you cant send anything in later than MArch 15, i am a transfer i dont know if that aplies to all others, but i believe it does

We've pulled together a list of almost 200 colleges that use some type of a rolling admissions policy. What does this mean? In the most basic terms, it means that the admissions offices at these schools review and decide on applications as they are received until there are no openings left in the entering class.

you must search each colleges website that your interested becuase even if some schools offer rolling admission, they still have their different policies as well

princeton review site doesn't seem reliable,
I nkow for sure Penn State at Park is rolling, but they don't have that.
U Mich some people say are rolling and are not in the list too...
I guess I'll have to check all the school's website

KENNYK - I agree - there are quite a few schools missing from that list
