How important are AP classes to TNCJ.
Will I not get in if I don't take them.
Do you need to get an A in an AP class for it to look good?

Aside from looking good on a resume, the only instance where AP’s will matter is in picking classes. The more credits you have, the earlier you get to pick classes during registration, and you can often skip intro courses. Besides that, I wouldn’t be too worried.

Hi aammww20! From an admissions standpoint, AP classes are important. We look to see students who are challenging themselves, meaning students who are taking Honors, AP or IB classes. In the Admissions Office, we always tell students that it looks better to get a B in an honors/AP course than an A in a college prep course. I hope that helps!

okay thank you!

I guess I should change some of my classes for next year then…
