<p>The title basically says it all. Up until yesterday, three days before the AP Chemistry exam, I thought that the score would be sent in and considered with all of my other standardized tests. I found out that literally all they do is help with college credits if you get a high enough score.</p>
<p>However, if you fail, other then not being able to skip a course, does that affect getting into a college (or anything else for that matter)? I have been seeing mixed ideas about this on College Confidential. Some people are saying that your score is always seen by admissions before you are rejected or admitted, but some are saying that sending in AP scores with the application is optional. Can we come to a consensus on this?</p>
<p>I wish my teacher informed my class better about the actual point of the exam and where the score goes. He made it like this exam could make or break your life!</p>
