<p>Some are, some aren't. At my high school, they do show up on the transcripts.</p>

<p>Don't quote me on this, but I believe there's a section on the Common App that allows you to report your AP scores, if you wish to. Maybe it means that its not on transcripts?</p>
<p>Whether they appear on your transcripts depends on the procedures at your high school. There is no "standard" answer. You need to ask your guidance counselor to find out.</p>

<p>The College Board discourages high schools from putting standardized test scores on high school transcripts unless the student signed a specific waiver permitting that. But some high schools are stupid and put the scores on transcripts anyway, which is possibly a violation of law. Find out from your own high school what it does. </p>
<p>It was correctly said above that this year the Common Application has spaces for self-reporting AP test scores to all Common Application colleges.</p>
<p>The high school here puts SAT scores on the transcripts (which they shouldn't) but not AP scores. You just have to ask. Better yet, if you can you should order a sealed, stamped official transcript for yourself. I did that for my son. I didn't need it, as it turned out, so I unsealed it and could see exactly what they sent to colleges, including his transcript, the test scores they included on it, the school profile, and some other stuff. It was intersting.</p>
