Are awards an important part of admissions?

As the title says. I really don’t have any awards to brag about except being an AP Scholar. Everything else I have is great (EC’s, GPA, Test scores, etc). But in regards to reach and high-match colleges, would awards matter? Thanks!

I would think for reach schools, only the truly “big” awards would matter, meaning they would be the ones that would differentiate someone in the high-stats applicant pools for these schools.

Awards are not a requirement for admission- they can be a nice touch, but don’t stress if you don’t have any.
