Are Blue Book practice tests easier than the actual SAT?

This guy I know said since College Board is a business, they make the tests easier in the BB so people retake the SAT. Thoughts?

Bumpsicle bumity

I would agree with that statement about 50%. I took several BB practice exams and scored well (2010-2200). However, on the actual exam, I scored a 1480. Didn’t make any sense at all. However, I had a few friends who studied alongside myself and scored 1600-1800 on the BB practice and actually score 200 points + on the actual thing. So, I guess it all depends on who’s taking it.

im sorry but i had to lol at that comment ^ … if you think about it thats actually quite hilarious.

You have to take into account the conditions when one is taking tests from the blue book. . .

Uhh… the first three tests in College Board’s book were previously ADMINISTERED SAT tests.

If the book was too easy and didn’t help through it would never sell.

I thought the BB questions were actual SAT test questions. Both my kids found the actual SAT a little easier than the BB tests – maybe it is just the conditions of the actual test bring test takers to focus?

they are the made by college board to be exactly like the test
