Are CCer's successful in admissions?

Just thought I'd ask for fun.. Do CCer's have better chances at their schools than the normal applicant?

Yes. They know more about college, they are driven enough to find this site, and it seems like a ton are way above average.

It's been statistically proven that when you create an account on CC, your chances of admissions to all schools go up by 10%.

Ya and when you copy n paste a conversation about you promoting the college you are applying to on the application they add 30 points to ur score.

um.. wait are you serious..

Yes they are.

The average applicant doesn't give a ****. If you're on this site, you care and know more, and are probably applying to better, more competitive schools to begin with. So yes, your chances are higher.

I’m sure the owners of this site would like to think so. :)

It also cuts your life span by a tad. ;)

I don't know if they're successful in admissions, but there is no question that they succeed at Googling, typing, and debating affirmative action to no end.

"debating affirmative action to no end"

Best quote in a long time!

People who use their time to do things more productive than posting on message boards tend to have greater success rates.

You wouldn't think so by the colleges everyone is going to on cc...

I think CC really helped me go through my college admissions! (Hey, my username is new, but I'm not, I just forgot my passwords :P)

I learned a lot of things that got me accepted into quite a few awesome schools! :D

I found it the night I got my last acceptance letter...bad timing eh?

How funny same here, I think my day of registration is April 1st, THE DAY, so just a little late I guess.

Yeah, I joined after I was done with all my apps too. I think that that was a good thing though haha. Actually, if I remember correctly, I found this website on March 29th, the day before I got the decision letters from my colleges...
