@Gregmacd because he is in Kansas State’s Early Admission program that is the only place he is applying this year (his Junior year). He loves his school and the town and is happy to stay there for vet school since he has met many of the faculty and is already working for them doing research.
He has a deal where if he keeps a 3.3 in his sciences, takes all his prerequisites (all sciences have to be taken at K-State so no science AP credits counted), and takes the GRE (without embarrassing himself - in their words), fills out the supplemental application and submits everything on time he should be in (doesn’t have to complete his BS or fill out the VMCAS). Then after his second year of vet school they give him his BS. The program has changed and is a little harder now but he is still under the old rules.
Since he has a 4.0, did well on the GRE, is finishing his pre-requisites this semester, and per him submitted everything on time he should be fine. As mom I’m still nervous! Again good luck to your D wherever she finally ends up!
